OUR VISION
GRBC is the body of Christ, the local New Testament Church of Jesus Christ, striving to be "imitators of God as beloved children, walking in love as Christ has loved us and gave Himself for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Sharing the love Christ has for us with everyone.
WHAT WE DO
GRBC strives to worship God as led by His Spirit to facilitate our love of God and the love of others thereby bolstering our corporate worship, the fellowship of the saints, evangelism of the lost, discipleship unto Christ's likeness, ministry to our brothers and sisters in Christ, and mission endeavors locally and throughout all the world.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are a group of people, sinners all, saved only by the grace of God, striving to worship and glorify God by being obedient to His word. Our goals are to share the love Christ has for us with everyone who will listen, to deepen and strengthen our relationships with God and our fellow believers, and to equip and train disciples as we spread the gospel near and far.
OUR TEAM
Dan Tilley, Senior Pastor
Dan is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (1990). Dan has been married to Kimberly F. Tilley for 35 years. They have 2 sons, Gabriel Tilley, and his wife Mackenzie, and grandsons Ezekiel and Samuel, Harrison Tilley, and wife Catherine. Dan has pastored from North Carolina to Portland, Oregon, and is now serving Guess Road Baptist Church in Durham, NC as Senior Pastor (2008 - Present)
Karen Forbes, Financial and Church Secretary
Karen has been in this role since 2021.
